Three doctors from the IDF (Zahal) Medical Corps traveled to Belarus on Tuesday evening (Apr. 12) in order to provide aid in the wake of a terrorist bombing at a subway station in Minsk on Monday that left at least 12 people dead and hundreds more wounded.
The blast occurred during rush hour on Monday evening at the Oktyabrskaya station in the Belarusian capital.
The IDF (Zahal) medical team was dispatched after Belarusian authorities sent a formal request.
The Medical Corps team is being led by Lt. Col. Dr. Alon Galzberg, head of the trauma department.
