As part of the ongoing war against terror and its infrastructure, IDF forces in Beit Furik, south east of Nablus, demolished the house of Mustafa Hanni, an Islamic Jihad terrorist, who attempted to blow himself up with an explosive belt near IDF forces at the G’it Junction, west of Nablus, on January 7, 2002.
In addition, IDF forces demolished the house of Zid Hanni, who, armed with a Kalashnikov rifle, two cartridges, and a commando knife, attempted to carry out a terrorist attack in Hamrah on March 6, 2003. During the attempted attack, the terrorist opened fire towards IDF soldiers.
The demolition of terrorists’ houses sends a message to suicide bombers and their accomplices that their actions have a price that will be paid by all those involved in hostile terrorist activity. The IDF will continue to use all available legal means to strike at terrorists, their dispatchers, and all those who assist them.
