IDF Soldier Lightly Wounded from Rocks Hurled at his Vehicle

An IDF (Zahal) soldier was lightly wounded when from rocks thrown toward his vehicle north of Hebron. According to the ISA, November saw an overall increase in terror attacks

An IDF (Zahal) soldier was injured lightly on Sunday (Dec. 19) from rocks thrown toward his vehicle next to Halhul, north of Hebron. The soldier was treated on the scene immediately and sent to a hospital for further medical treatment. IDF (Zahal) forces are currently searching the area for suspects.

On Saturday night (Dec. 18), IDF (Zahal) forces arrested two wanted suspects in Hebron. The suspects were handed over for questioning by security forces.

According to a document by the Israel Security Agency, the month of November saw a slight increase in terrorist attacks as opposed to the previous month. There were 52 terrorist attacks all together, as opposed to 44 in October. The increase in terrorist attacks could mostly be seen in the Jerusalem area where there were ten attacks as opposed to October’s six and from the Gaza Strip with 22 terrorist attacks as opposed to October’s 18. In the Judea and Samaria region, the number of attacks remained the same at approximately 20. In the Judea and Samaria region and the Jerusalem area most of the attacks came in the form of Molotov cocktails.
