In response to approximately 12 rockets fired from the Gaza Strip at Israeli communities on Friday (December 9), IAF aircraft targeted a terror-affiliated site in the southern Gaza Strip. Directs hits were confirmed.

The Iron Dome anti-missile system successfully intercepted a Grad rocket fired at the city of Ashdod (206,400 civilians) and the Hof Ashkelon and Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Councils.

The IDF (Zahal) will not allow any attempt to harm the State of Israel and IDF (Zahal) soldiers, and will continue to operate against anyone who uses terror against the State of Israel.
