On Saturday (Nov. 6) the IAF targeted two terror-linked sites in the southern Gaza Strip. Direct hits and secondary blasts were identified.

These terror-linked sites were targeted in response to a Qassam rocket being fired and landing in the Sdot Negev Regional Council on Saturday morning. Since the beginning of 2010, approximately 180 Grad missiles, Qassam Rockets and Mortar shells have been fired from the Gaza Strip, landing in Israeli territory.

The IDF (Zahal) holds the Hamas terrorist organization solely responsible for maintaining the calm in the Gaza Strip and for any terrorist activity emanating from it. The IDF (Zahal) will continue to respond harshly to any attempt of terror against the State of Israel.
