An Israeli civilian was moderately wounded by gunfire in the Judea and Samaria region

On Tuesday night (Sept. 29), an Israeli civilian was moderately wounded when he was shot at while driving in a vehicle close to Shilo, in the Judea and Samaria region. Israel Army Radio reports that IDF (Zahal) forces are currently searching the area in the attempt to find those responsible for the fire. The wounded man is being treated by Magen David Adom.
In addition to that, a Qassam rocket has been fired at the western Negev desert on Tuesday night (Sept. 29). The rocket hit in an open area, no casualties or damages were reported.
On Monday (Sept. 28), the Israeli Air Force struck a rocket launcher ready to be fired into Israel from the northern Gaza Strip. The pilots identified hitting the target successfully.
During the Yom Kippur holiday, Palestinians fired three Qassam rockets at the western Negev desert, one of which exploded at noon in the Gaza Strip, while the other two hit western Negev towns in the region. No casualties or injuries were reported as a result of the rockets. A mortar shell was also launched but exploded in Palestinian territory near the Negev Regional Council.
