The Noble Dina joint exercise between the three naval forces tested cooperation during maritime emergencies

The Noble Dina exercise, a two-week joint exercise between the Israeli, Greek and US naval forces, concluded today, (March 21).
The exercise, which took place on the Mediterranean Sea, was conducted in order to assess the level of operational coordination between the three navies. The exercise assessed the level of operational coordination between the three navies in procedures of search and rescue as well as the immediacy and efficiency in responding to maritime emergencies, evacuation, navigation and fire drills.
Ships, helicopters and search and rescue planes from the three navies participated in the drill
Noble Dina was one of the Israeli Navy’s scheduled annual exercises and is part of the defensive cooperation between the Israeli Navy and foreign naval forces
The IDF (Zahal) sees this exercise as an opportunity for mutual learning and for strengthening of cooperation with its allies.
