Today, Brigade medical officer of the Efraim Brigade assisted a pregnant Palestinian woman in birth and evacuated her in a military ambulance to an Israeli hospital.The woman, a citizen of the village of Thilth in southern Samaria departed with the village with her husband to a hospital in Nablus. During the way, the Palestinian woman passed an IDF blockade that reported to the regional brigade that she is going into birth.The brigade medical officer arrived in the Kdumim junction and transferred the woman to a military ambulance, in order to evacuate her to an Israeli hospital.A short time later, when on their way to the hospital, the woman began giving birth and the officer delivered the baby in the vehicle.Both the mother and the newly born daughter are well, and both were evacuated to the Meir hospital in Kfar Saba.
