A review of the March 2011 draft cycle found the recruits of the Nahal Brigade leading the way among the IDF (Zahal)’s various infantry brigades.
The report examined data on the quality of full company drills, shooting skills and combat fitness at the end of the advanced training period.
The final grades were weighted as follows: 40% (company drills), 30% (shooting skills) and 30% (combat fitness).
The Nahal Brigade led all of the IDF (Zahal)’s infantry brigades with an impressive score of 78.23. The Paratrooper Brigade came in second, closely followed by the Golani Brigade. The Kfir and Givati Brigades rounded out the list.
