Restrictions don’t apply to those in need of medical care, humanitarian aid, etc.

According to the Minister of Defense’s instructions, following safety assessments by security forces, restrictions will be implemented in the Judea and Samaria region as of Sunday (Apr. 17) at 23:59. They will be lifted on Tuesday night, (Apr. 26) at 23:59, following security assessments.

During the closure, people in need of medical attention, humanitarian aid or exceptional cases of assistance will be permitted to cross into Israel for care. Christian Palestinians with relevant permits will also be permitted to pass in order to celebrate the Easter holiday.

Journalists, too, will be given permission to pass. As always, the IDF (Zahal) Spokesperson Unit strongly suggests that passage into the Judea and Samaria region be coordinated in advance.
