West Bank:

On Sunday, April 20, 2003, Fa’ruz Ahmed Mahmud Makhil was arrested in the Balata refugee camp, near Nablus. Mahil, a wanted female Palestinian, intended to carry out a suicide bombing inside Israel. Mahil was the fifth terrorist arrested during the past two weeks, three of whom intended to carry out suicide bombings.

On Tuesday, April 22, 2003, during the night. Issar Al-Atrash was arrested in Jenin. Issar Al-Atrash, the head of Islamic Jihad in the city, was a senior terrorist who was involved in planning a deadly terrorist attack shortly against an Israeli target.
