West Bank

This past week, IDF forces arrested a total of 72 wanted Palestinians. 22 instances of terrorist gunfire were reported, and 3 explosive devices were detonated towards IDF forces.

The IDF is continuing to implement a series of confidence building measures based on the decision of the political echelon. The more the Palestinians do to foil and prevent terrorism, the more the IDF will be able to ease security restrictions — thereby further improving the quality of life for the Palestinian population.

As part of the above-mentioned measures, 334 security and administrative detainees were released from the Ketziot, Ofer, and Meggido prisons.
