The West Bank

Fire was opened on Friday afternoon toward IDF soldiers at Ayosh Junction. The soldiers returned fire at the sources of the shooting. Continued exchanges of fire took place in the area.

Shots were also fired on Friday at a number of other locations in the West Bank;The community of Ariel and an IDF force in the nearby “Antenna” hill, the community of Pesagot, an IDF position at Mount Eibal, an IDF base south of Jenin, an IDF force at the Okfim Junction, south of Halhul, and toward an IDF force south of Ramallah.

Also, shots were fired throughout the weekend toward IDF positions at Ruth and Yishai’s Tomb, and at the Tel-Rumeida neighborhood in Hebron. IDF soldiers returned fire at the sources of the shooting when identified.

Violent disturbances took place this weekend at Shima’a Junction, south of Otniel, Ayosh Junction, and the Jewish neighborhood in Hebron. IDF forces responded with crowd dispersal measures.

In all these incidents there were no casualties to IDF forces.

The weekend saw a total of 15 shooting attacks against IDF and civilian forces in the West Bank.

The Gaza Strip

IDF soldiers found and neutralized an explosive charge near plantations in the community of Morag.

Shots were fired yesterday and the Neve Dekalim industrial area, and nearby IDF outposts.

IDF soldiers returned fire at the sources. Continual exchanges of fire took place at the site. Also, shots were fired on Friday at an IDF outpost on the Israeli-Egyptian border and toward an IDF outpost near the community of Dugit. Also, two grenades were used against IDF forces on the Israeli-Egyptian border, near Rafah.Shots were also fired today at an IDF outpost near Khan Junes, and a grenade was thrown at an IDF position on the Israeli-Egyptian border.In all of the above incidents there were no casualties to IDF forces.The weekend saw a total of 14 shooting attacks, 3 grenade attacks and an explosive charge discovered at Morag.
