West Bank:

A border police soldier was moderately to severely injured, and two more border police soldiers were lightly injured from an explosive device activated at them yesterday noon near El Hader village near Beit Lehem. Another soldier was lightly injured yesterday noon from rocks thrown at him near El Arub village southern of Gush Ezyon. During the weekend shots were fired towards Kadim settlement near Jenin and towards an IDF force on the Antena Hill near Ariel. No injures or damage were reported. IDF returned fire towards the sources of fire. Also, an explosive device was activated at an IDF patrol south of Alon More settlement, no injuries or damage were reported. During the weekend in the West Bank two shooting incidents were reported as well as two explosive devices which one of them injured three border police soldiers, and another IDF soldier was injured from rocks thrown at him.

Gaza Strip:

An Israeli citizen was lightly injured yesterday morning from fire opened at him from the direction of Beit Hanun plantation while he was working at the Erez checkpoint industrial area. The citizen was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment. Two mortar shells were shot last night at an IDF post near Tel Katifa settlement in Gush Katif. No injures were reported. Later, IDF soldiers at that post prevented a terrorist attack by opening fire at an armed Palestinian approaching the post. Yesterday morning an explosive device was activated at an IDF force that was on an operational activity on the border fence southern of “Sufa” checkpoint. No injuries were reported. Shots were fired and hand grenades and molotov cocktails were thrown yesterday at an IDF force and an IDF post on the Israeli-Egyptian border. Also, shots were fired at an IDF force near Newe Dekalin settlement, and at an IDF post near Gene Tal settlement and at an IDF post on the Israeli-Egyptian border. IDF soldiers returned fire towards the sources of fire. No injures or damage were reported. Today, thirteen hand grenades and numerous molotov cocktails were thrown, and heavy fire was opened at IDF forces conducting engineering works on the outskirts of Rafah city. No injuries were reported. During the weekend in Gaza one Israeli citizen was injured, two mortar shells were fired, one explosive device was activated, six shooting incidents were reported as well as heavy prolonged fire on the Israeli-Egyptian border on Saturday noon.
