Two IDF soldiers were killed and another lightly injured this afternoon (June 22) from an explosive car aimed towards an IDF patrol, near the village of Dugit in the northern Gaza Strip.The families of the victims have been notified. The patrol that was on a routine operational activity identified a Jeep with a yellow license plate that was stuck in the sand. Two soldiers approached the suspicious vehicle in order to check it, and a forceful explosive charge was detonated towards them.From the blast two soldiers were killed and a third soldier was lightly injured. The injured soldier was treated on the spot, and was later evacuated in order to receive treatment in hospital.
