Approved in Second and Third Reading: “Channel 10 Law”

Special Session during Recess: The Knesset Plenum approved at 2:05 am the “Second Authority for Television and Radio Bill (Amendment #37) 2013 in Second and Third Readings proposed by the Government. The Law allows the Second Authority to extend Channel 10’s broadcasting license for 2 more years and includes benefits for both the “Keshet “and “Reshet” franchises. The proposal received an exemption from having to provide a discount.
