The Ministry of Health hereby notifies the public that preparations and creams made of materials of unknown origin have been found being marketed at Dr. Ilan Zamir’s clinic in Jerusalem ​ The Ministry of Health hereby notifies the public that preparations and creams made of materials of unknown origin, and which have been marked as (natural ingredients only”, where part of them even contain active medicinal ingredients, have been found being marketed at Dr. Ilan Zamir’s clinic in Jerusalem. In inspections conducted by a team from the pharmaceutical crime prevention unit and the head of general medicine in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Michael Dor at a clinic dealing also with homeopathy – found medicines and products of unknown origin, and which have not been approved for use by the Ministry of Health. Among the products that were found are also medicines which were concocted as pharmaceutical preparations, which have not been approved by the Ministry of Health, and which, following laboratory tests, were found to contain active medicinal ingredients. Furthermore, the inspection found pharmaceutical preparations which are not marked with a legally mandated expiry date, creams bearing the inscription “natural ingredients only” but which actually contain active medicinal ingredients, and homeopathic preparations and injections which have not been approved by the Ministry of Health, some of which were past their expiry date. The drugs and products are suspected to have been dispensed to patients at Dr. Ilan Zamir’s clinic in Givat Shaul, Jerusalem.   The Ministry recommends that the public cease to consume these products, and is continuing in its activities intended to test the products and take the appropriate legal actions against the doctor and the companies marketing the products.
