The Ministry of Health announces the destruction of 80 kg of foodstuffs: fish, meat and poultry products at Beit Habasar – Akram Dabach butchery at no. 3 Hamasger street in Karmiel ​

An inspection was conducted on February 12, 2013, by the health bureau inspectors, at the Beit Habasar – Akram Dabach butchery at no. 3 Hamasger street in Karmiel.
The inspection found meat, fish and poultry products, some of which had passed their expiry date, and which had been produced without the necessary veterinary documentation, in a manner which may be harmful to public health.
Following directions from the district veterinary surgeon of the Nazareth health bureau, 80 kg of meat, fish and poultry were destroyed.
The Ministry of Health will continue to take the necessary enforcement measures, including legal proceedings, against this food business.
