The Ministry of Health Announces the Destruction of Meat at the “A.B. Poultry Marketing” Butchery at 16 Zerubavel St., Ness-ziona ​

On 29-May-2013, the District Veterinarian of the Central Health Bureau, in cooperation with the Municipal Veterinarian of Ness-ziona, conducted an inspection of the “A.B. Poultry Marketing” Butchery at 16 Zerubavel St., Ness-ziona.
During the inspection, meat products stored in poor sanitary conditions were found that were manufactured without a manufacturer’s license, that lacked appropriate documentation and that were unlabeled. The processing, storage and marketing of meat products without the legally mandated proper conditions may be harmful to public health. By order of the veterinary surgeon of the Central Health Bureau, 8 kg of meat and poultry were destroyed during the inspection. The Ministry of Health will continue to take the necessary enforcement measures, including legal proceedings, against this food business.
