The Ministry of Health Announces the Destruction of Meat at the “Super Adika” Butchery and Grocery Store, at 22 Yossi Ben Yoezer St., Jerusalem
On 12-Jun-2013, a joint inspection was conducted by representatives of the Jerusalem District Health Bureau and representatives of the City of Jerusalem and the Municipal Veterinarian at the “Super Adika” Butchery and Grocery Store, 22 Yossi Ben Yoezer St., Jerusalem
During the inspection, unlabeled fish products with no packaging, thawed meat products and meat products that were beyond their expiry date were found.
The processing, storage and marketing of meat products without the legally mandated proper conditions may be harmful to public health.
By order of the veterinary surgeon of the Jerusalem Health Bureau, 11 kg of meat and fish were destroyed.
The Ministry of Health will continue to take the necessary enforcement measures, including legal proceedings, against this food business.
