​The Director General of the Ministry of Health yesterday passed a draft Director General circular to the hospital managers and the HMO CEOs on improving the patient experience in the health system. This draft is based on the recommendations of the committee for formation of quality service delivery standards in order to improve the patient experience.
Promotion of the patient experience will be integrated with the system of indices with which the Ministry of Health will be regularly evaluating through surveys, which will measure the patient experience in the health institutions. The first nationwide survey will be conducted in general hospitals in the course of 2013 and, later on, it will be conducted in the community health system and in additional health centers.
