Last Thursday hundreds of children who attend ultra-Orthodox schools and special education schools in south Israel visited the Knesset for a day of fun-filled activities meant to take their minds of the incessant rocket attacks on their communities.

The school children enjoyed a magic show and a performance by ”Bnot Kishkes.” They were also given a tour of the parliament building.

At the initiative of Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein, more than 2,000 children residing in south Israel have visited the Knesset over the past three weeks. The activity is being spearheaded by Knesset Director-General Ronen Plot.
