​A joint activity of the supervision and enforcement department (pharmaceutical crime prevention unit) in the Ministry of Health and the Coastal Central Unit and the narcotics unit of the Haifa Customs authrority, over 30,000 fake pills were seized in Kiryat Bialik, which were intended to treat impotency – Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. The pills were seized in a private warehouse.
Also seized were Chinese Tiger-king and Sharkessence E pills, wheich ave already been seized in the past, and an analysis of their contents found that they are counterfeit and that they contain active medicinal ingredients.

Also seized was a very large quantity of spray, which is used as a delaying agent and many labels containing the names of the pills, intended for pasting and sale.
The Ministry of Health repeats its warning against buying medicines from unauthorized sources, but rather that any drugs should be purchased only at pharmacies which are licensed to do business in Israel. Furthermore, it must be emphasized that use of counterfeit drugs or drugs of uncertain origins may endanger public health.
