The Ministry of Health warns the public against using capsules bearing the brand name Vimbo, which may jeopardize public health
In a joint activity of the department of enforcement and supervision in the Ministry of Health, and the Haifa district health bureau, a box of Vimbo capsules was seized in Haifa in a pharmacy. Vimbo is sold as a dietary supplement and is supposedly intended to treat impotence.
Laboratory tests found that the capsules are counterfeit and that they contain the active medicinal ingredients Sildenafil and Vardenafil, which are found in Viagra and Levitra, respectively.
