Meet Louis Miller.

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Louis made Aliyah four years ago after he experienced a life-altering trip to Israel through the Birthright program. Today, Louis is a soldier in the IDF, and after months of intensive training, he is about to embark upon a 55 kilometer march as part of his final test in the Paratroopers Brigade.

Beginning at sunset, the march will last all night, and will test Louis and his fellow soldiers to their limits as they complete the journey in the streets of Jerusalem. There the soldiers experience an emotional moment as parents seek out their children — even Louis whose parents flew in from the United States just for this occasion.
