Overnight, the IAF targeted a terror site located between Beirut and Sidon in response to a barrage of four rockets launched at northern Israel yesterday, one of the rockets was successfully intercepted by the Iron Dome battery of the active missile defense system between Akko and Nahariya. Two other rockets landed in populated areas causing damage, but no injuries. The IAF pilots reported direct hits on the target.

The IDF (Zahal) holds the Lebanese government accountable for the attack.

Yesterday’s attack is a blatant breach of Israeli sovereignty that jeopardized Israeli civilian life. Israel will not tolerate terrorist aggression originating from Lebanese territory. The IDF (Zahal) will continue to operate to safeguard the State of Israel and its civilians.
