The festival included over 40 different countries, each represented by its own booth that included national symbols, costumes and traditional food.

The Horizon international school in Yangon held its yearly Culture Festival at the Myanmar Convention Center in Yangon. The Israeli booth was managed by the staff of the Embassy of Israel in Yangon together with students and teachers from the Horizon school, who presented the audience with Israeli traditional foods as falafel, pita bread and humus, and also the Israeli popular drink – sweet lemonade.
Visitors also viewed a display of pictures of famous attractions in Israel, a two minute film about Israel, and different symbols and souvenirs from the Jewish and Israeli tradition.
The two day festival was officially opened after a ribbon cutting ceremony in the presence of the Ambassador of Israel, together with the heads of other diplomatic missions and representatives of the Myanmar government and parliament, as well as the international community.
