For the second time in three days, IDF (Zahal) soldiers exposed two concealed improvised explosive devices that were positioned against them in the northern Gaza Strip. No injuries were caused.

Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner, IDF (Zahal) spokesperson to the international press, said in a statement: “The IDF (Zahal) holds the right to maintain its operational accessibility in the area in order to prevent future attempts of executing terror attacks and to protect its civilians.”

Update 03/09/2013: For the fourth time this week, routine operations by the IDF (Zahal) uncovered an explosive device located along the security fence in the southern Gaza strip. This incident represents an ongoing effort by terrorist organizations to execute attacks against IDF (Zahal) soldiers and Israeli civilians.
