The Ministry of Environmental Protection has ordered two corporations that provide water and sewerage services in the south of Israel to pay NIS 4,000 each, due to overflow of wastewater and sewage.

​Green Police inspectors in the MoEP’s southern district office issued the default judgments last week. The judgment was issued against the Be’er Sheva Water and Sewer Corporation after a wastewater overflow from a pumping station. It was issued against the Neve Midbar Water Corporation after a sewage overflow near residential areas in Segev Shalom.
