The incident occurred when an employee at the Jerusalem’s Hadassa hospital fell into the engine room. “This employee was attempting to fix an electrical problem”, tells Staff Sergeant Eldad, of the 669 unit, in command of the operation. “The worker got a severe electrical shock, which thrown him to the other side of the room, and he suffered an injury in his back, after hitting a large metal pipe”.

Paramedics on site feared an additional injury, and called in the military rescue unit. “It was not an ordinary operation: rescuing a person from a building, at a down town location. However, we were well prepared, and the mission went well”.
