A battle workshop regarding fighter jets abilities and tactical supply during battle has occurred this week with battalion commanders and brigade commanders of infantry divisions.
The workshop which was supposed to occur last summer was postponed because of Operation “Protective Edge”.
“These study days are part of the base for preserving the operational knowledge level”, said Colonel Oren, the commander of the aerial cooperation unit.
During the workshop, lessons from operation “Protective Edge” were taught.
“The preservation of the operational lessons is extremely necessary especially after the operation”, declared Major A’, head of Air branch in the aerial cooperation unit.
The first part of the day concentrated in IAF jet fighters capabilities and operational activities. Afterwards the participants used an F-16 A/B simulator while getting an explanation about the fighter jet.
