Colonel Dr. Nachman ash was appointed today to the Chief Medical Officer of the IDF and was elevated to the rank of Brigadier General.
Dr. ash replaces his Commodore Dr. Hezi Levi ends his post after four years and four months as Chief Medical Officer and retired.
My installation ceremony was held today in the presence of Chief of general staff, General Gabi Ashkenazi.
Brigadier General Dr. Asch was born in 1961 and joined the army in 1979.
Early services used Commodore Dr. ash in a variety of roles as a divisional brigades, and IDF commandos, to the level of control in the southern command.
In 2005 he was appointed Deputy Chief Medical Officer.
Brigadier General Dr. ash PhD (MD) at Tel Aviv University and an MA in medical and Computing Sciences, specialist in internal medicine.
Brigadier General Dr. Asch married with three children.
