Col. (Res.) Danny Skylark will be appointed Chief Military Prosecutor confirmed next-day (Wednesday), Mr Defense Minister Ehud Barak, following the recommendation of the Chief of staff, Lieutenant General Benny Gantz.

Colonel (Ret.) Lark, who served as Deputy judge advocate between 2004-2009, will be raised to the rank of Brigadier General and replace in the General avichai mandelblit, who serves in the role of it for seven years and is expected to be discharged from the army after completing his job.

During his military service played Col. (Ret.) Lark a slew of key positions in the military prosecutor’s Office. From 1991 to 1993 he was head of the military prosecution in Judah and then became Commander of the intelligence unit, wide role it filled until 1996, when he was appointed Deputy Chief Military Prosecutor.
