An IDF soldier was wounded today (Sunday) in a medium during training of paratroopers in Jordan Valley גדס”ר. The exercise included firing live ammunition, and the soldier was wounded when a bullet penetrated his thigh shrsis.
The soldier was evacuated by helicopter for treatment at the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem.
Benny Gantz, Chief of general staff, visited the exercise of paratroopers shortly before the soldier was wounded and ordered to return the helicopter to the scene in order to free himself to the hospital.
