Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this morning (Monday, 9 May 2016), met with Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders; the two discussed bilateral relations. The Belgian Foreign Minister again thanked the Prime Minister for Israel’s offer of assistance and cooperation following the Brussels terrorist attack. They also discussed the threat posed by radical Islam to the region and to Europe.
Regarding the French initiative, Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized that such initiatives allow the Palestinians to avoid direct negotiations thereby making peace more remote.
