In a joint operation of Israel Police and the Department for enforcement and supervision of the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Haifa District Food Service, a 40 year old resident of Kafr Qara has been arrested on suspicion of impersonating a doctor and pharmacist, and allegedly receiving patients at a clinic he opened without a license in his village. He even provided prescriptions using forged documents and invoices.
 
According to the findings and to the business owner, the clinic is used for preparing and packing creams and ointments for external treatment and manual preparation of capsules for the treatment of various diseases, where plants are ground in a small coffee grinder. Various oil-based liquids where found with unknown contents and no identifying labels, in drinking bottles of various types.
 
Also found were plastic containers with plants, herbs and various powders. Most of them without identification of the contents, source of raw materials, dates and so on.
 
No specifications and analyzes indicating the origin and quality of the materials found were presented.
At the end of his interrogation, he had been released under restrictive conditions.
 
Dozens of vials and various pharmaceuticals and natural products were seized and taken to the Ministry of Health laboratories.
