Knesset Members David Bitan (Likud), Nurit Koren (Likud), Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin (Zionist Camp), Yoel Hasson (Zionist Camp), Yoel Razvozov (Yesh Atid) and Yakov Margi (Shas) participated in the 52nd ”Celebrate Israel Parade” in New York on Sunday. Some 30,000 people marched in support of Israel, including senior US Government officials.

The MKs also met with members of the New York City Council Jewish Caucus, as well as with Israeli Consulate employees and members of the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations.

”This is one of those rare moments when you discover that there are so many people who support the State of Israel,” MK Hasson said. MK Nahmias-Verbin said the parade ”was one of the most moving events I have ever participated in. People, with hands and souls joined, marching in the heavy rain in solidarity with Israel.”

MK Margi said ”those who tend to criticize the Israeli and Jewish spirit should attend the parade in New York in order to see how the nation`s unity crosses ideological and political divides.”
