Senior Ugandan Parliament employees take part in professional seminar at the Knesset

A group of senior Ugandan Parliament employees, headed by Clerk to Parliament Jane Kibirige, arrived at the Knesset on Monday for a three-day seminar which is taking place as part of the inter-parliamentary cooperation between the Israeli and Ugandan legislatures.

The guests are meeting with their counterparts in the Knesset, including Director-General Albert Sakharovich and Knesset Secretary Yardena Meller-Horowitz, and are learning about the work of the various departments in the Knesset and the special projects it has initiated, including the ”Green Knesset” sustainability project.

Today the Ugandans received a briefing on regional issues by the Knesset`s senior political advisor, Oded Ben-Hur, and on Tuesday they are scheduled to meet with the chairman of the Israel-Uganda Parliamentary Friendship Group, MK Roy Folkman (Kulanu).
